PSL 10: Peshawar Zalmi Defeat Multan Sultans by 7 Wickets

MULTAN – In the 25th match of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10, Peshawar Zalmi secured a dominant 7-wicket victory over Multan Sultans at the Multan Cricket Stadium.

Multan Sultans won the toss and opted to bat first, but their batting lineup collapsed under pressure, managing only 108 runs in 19.1 overs. Shai Hope scored 23 runs while Tayyab Tahir added 22, standing out in an otherwise disappointing performance.

Peshawar Zalmi’s bowling attack was clinical, with Ahmed Daniyal claiming 3 wickets and Maaz Sadaqat and Luke Wood picking up 2 wickets each.

In response, Peshawar Zalmi chased down the 109-run target comfortably in just 13 overs. Saim Ayub played a brilliant knock of 49 runs, supported by Max Bryant who added 38 to the total.

For Multan Sultans, Shahid Aziz took 2 wickets while David Willey picked up one.

With this win, Peshawar Zalmi moved up to fifth position on the PSL 10 points table with 8 points. Quetta Gladiators currently lead the table with 11 points from 8 matches, followed by Islamabad United and Karachi Kings, both tied at 10 points but separated by net run rate. Lahore Qalandars hold fourth place with 9 points from 9 matches.
