PSB to Distribute 25,000 Track Suits Among Public School Students, Says DG Yasir Pirzada

ISLAMABAD – Director General of the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB), Yasir Pirzada, announced a series of new initiatives aimed at promoting sports among public school students while addressing a ceremony in Islamabad.
Expressing nostalgia, Pirzada said seeing a large number of students reminded him of his own school days. He revealed that PSB will distribute 25,000 track suits to students of government schools across the country. The package will also include joggers and sports equipment to encourage active participation.
“The doors of the Pakistan Sports Board are now open for public school students,” Pirzada declared, adding that every student will be able to participate in the sport of their choice.
He further announced that weekly sports activities will be held at the PSB, and qualified coaches will be provided to students to enhance their skills. Special sports programs have also been scheduled for the summer vacation period.

Highlighting the government’s commitment to inclusive sports facilities, Pirzada said, “Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah had directed from day one that PSB should offer services and facilities for the general public.”
The initiatives mark a significant step toward promoting a healthy lifestyle and inclusive sports culture among the youth, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds.
