ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) has expressed strong reservations over the Pakistan Hockey Federation’s (PHF) recently announced club scrutiny schedule.

According to the PSB, the PHF released the schedule unilaterally, without any consultation or approval from the board. The PSB stated that the schedule holds no legal validity and directed the PHF to provide an immediate clarification.

PSB Begins Nationwide Scrutiny of Hockey Clubs

A spokesperson for the board emphasized that the scrutiny of hockey clubs will only take place under the supervision and jurisdiction of the PSB. The board warned that such unilateral actions by the PHF are creating confusion among stakeholders and could affect the transparency of the scrutiny process.

The PSB reiterated that all procedures related to club scrutiny must adhere strictly to its oversight and regulations.
