Prisoner Escapes from Malir Jail Using Makeshift Rope
A prisoner successfully escaped from Malir Jail by cutting through a bathroom window and using a bedsheet as a makeshift rope to climb the wall.
According to jail officials, Muhammad Javed, who was serving a sentence for rape in barrack number 5, made his getaway on October 21.
In response to the incident, law enforcement quickly arrested seven jail staff members from the Shah Latif area.
