Prince Andrew reacts to surprising revelations in latest royal book
New royal biography exposes Prince Andrew’s controversial past, sparking fresh debate over his future in the monarchy.
Prince Andrew is reportedly reeling after explosive claims in a new book revealed private details about his personal life and royal ties.
The book, The Rise and Fall of the House of York by royal author Andrew Lownie, uncovers uncomfortable chapters in the Duke of York’s past—including his controversial friendship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and a heated exchange with Prince Harry.
According to royal expert Hannah Furness, palace insiders are now quietly discussing how the Royal Family might further distance itself from the disgraced Duke. There is even speculation that Andrew could lose his royal title. Furness explained that Parliament has the power to remove not only his Dukedom but also his title as Prince, though it would require new legislation and formal approval from the King.

Adding more fuel to the fire, Lownie’s book claims that Andrew criticized Meghan Markle—calling her “too old” and an “opportunist”—and warned Prince Harry that marrying her would be the “biggest mistake of his life.”
The author also alleges that Harry once told Prince William he “hated Andrew.” However, a spokesperson for Harry has strongly denied any such incident, saying there was no physical or verbal altercation between the two.
As the Royal Family continues to manage its public image, these new revelations may mark another difficult chapter for Prince Andrew.
