ISLAMABAD: Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Rana Mashhood Ahmed declared the initiation of an education emergency under the auspices of the Prime Minister.
Speaking at a ceremony held in Islamabad, Ahmed highlighted the pivotal role this measure would play in ensuring the enrollment of children currently outside the educational system.
Emphasizing the government’s commitment to empowering the nation’s youth, Ahmed outlined a series of projects aimed at providing ample opportunities for their development. Notably, he announced the expansion of the Prime Minister Talent Hunt Programme, broadening its scope to encompass sixteen different disciplines, with the primary objective of identifying and nurturing emerging talent across the country.
Furthermore, Ahmed revealed plans for the establishment of a climate volunteer corps, envisaging the induction of four hundred thousand young individuals. These volunteers will undergo specialized training to effectively respond to natural disasters and mitigate their impact on communities nationwide.
