ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing bilateral ties and regional cooperation during a cordial telephonic conversation on the occasion of Eid ul Azha.
Prime Minister Shehbaz extended warm Eid greetings to President Rahmon and the people of Tajikistan, emphasizing Pakistan’s steadfast support for peace, prosperity, and mutual development.
President Rahmon reciprocated the sentiments, highlighting the strong fraternal relations between the two nations. Both leaders expressed satisfaction with the positive trajectory of bilateral relations, focusing on shared interests in trade, energy, and connectivity projects.
Ahead of the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit in Astana, Prime Minister Shehbaz and President Rahmon affirmed their mutual commitment to advancing regional integration and cooperation.
