President Zardari Visits Air Headquarters to Commend Pakistan Air Force’s Recent Success

Islamabad: The President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mr. Asif Ali Zardari, paid a visit to the Air Headquarters in Islamabad, where he met with Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF). The visit was aimed at boosting the morale of the Air Force following its decisive role in defending Pakistan’s aerial frontiers and responding to recent aggression from India.
Upon arrival, the President was welcomed with a Guard of Honour presented by a smartly turned out contingent of the Pakistan Air Force.
During the meeting, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu briefed the President on various ongoing modernization projects and the future operational and structural plans of the Pakistan Air Force. He credited the PAF’s recent success in the standoff with India to unmatched training, advanced equipment induction, operational readiness, and a homegrown kill chain perfected through mastery of modern warfare. For the first time in its history, the PAF conducted Full Spectrum Operations, integrating multi-domain warfare capabilities including Space, Cyber, and Electronic Warfare, along with strategic use of disruptive technologies. These efforts collectively contributed significantly to Pakistan’s historic victory over India.
The President praised the professionalism, dedication, and resilience demonstrated by the personnel of the Pakistan Air Force. He recognized the critical role played by the PAF in safeguarding Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity during the recent conflict. Furthermore, he lauded the visionary leadership of Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu for modernizing the Air Force and swiftly incorporating advanced technologies, thereby enhancing operational readiness and reshaping the regional deterrence landscape.

Highlighting the bold leadership of the Pakistan Armed Forces, the President emphasized that it enabled Pakistan to deliver a firm and timely response to Indian aggression, keeping the Air Force at the forefront of technological and strategic progress. He reaffirmed the government’s full support for the Pakistan Air Force in its continued pursuit of excellence.
The President also visited the National ISR & Integrated Air Operations Centre, where he was briefed on the overall operational capabilities of the PAF.
The visit concluded with a strong message of confidence in the Pakistan Armed Forces, particularly the Pakistan Air Force, as a cornerstone in the defense of the nation.
