President, PM mourn former cricketer Mohammad Ilyas’ death

Pakistan mourns former cricketer Mohammad Ilyas as leaders express grief and honor his dedication to national cricket.

Mudassar Chudhry – Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari have expressed profound sorrow over the demise of former Pakistani cricketer and ex-chief selector Mohammad Ilyas.

In his condolence message, the Prime Minister prayed for the departed soul’s peace and offered heartfelt condolences to the grieving family.

Both leaders remembered Ilyas for his significant contributions to Pakistani cricket and extended their sympathies to all who are mourning his loss.

He said that Mohammad Ilyas served Pakistan cricket with dedication and honor.

“His contributions to the game will always be remembered>”

“May Allah Almighty grant patience to the bereaved family and bless the departed soul with a place in Jannat-ul-Firdous,” the prime minister said.

In a separate statement issued by the Aiwan-e-Sadr media wing, President Asif Ali Zardari also conveyed his condolences, praying for patience and strength for the grieving family.

Pakistan Rejects Claims of US Jets Using Airspace

The president said that Mohammad Ilyas’s contributions to Pakistan cricket will always be remembered, acknowledging his role in serving and promoting the sport.
