ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has requested a session of the National Assembly, according to details released by the National Assembly Secretariat. The notification for the assembly session has been issued, and members have been informed accordingly.
The National Assembly session has been requisitioned for Monday at 4:00 PM in the Parliament House. President Zardari has invoked the powers delegated to him under Article 54(1) of the Constitution while calling for the session.
The current session of the National Assembly will mark the fifth session of the 16th National Assembly.
