PPP’s former MNA Babul Jakhrani passes away, laid to rest in Jacobabad

A Veteran Politician and Tribal Elder Leaves Behind a Legacy of Public Service and Family Pride

Sindh Assembly – (Web Desk) – Mir Ahmed Nawaz, popularly known as Babul Khan Jakhrani, who served as a member of both the National Assembly and Sindh Assembly from Jacobabad under the Pakistan Peoples Party banner, breathed his last at his residence in Karachi’s Defence area after battling a long illness.

His body was brought back to his hometown of Jacobabad, where his funeral prayers were held. The occasion drew a significant gathering of prominent political leaders, social activists, and tribal elders, who came together to pay their final respects to the departed soul.

Mir Babul Khan Jakhrani was a prominent figure in political life, having been a member of the Sindh Assembly from 1988 to 1990 and a member of the National Assembly from 1993 to 1996. The late Mir Babul Khan Jakhrani was the father of the current PPP MNA Jacobabad Mir Ijaz Hussain Jakhrani and the uncle of PPP MPA Mir Mumtaz Khan Jakhrani.

And he enjoyed great respect and status in family and tribal circles.
