PPP Leader Ijaz Jakhrani’s Son Zaid Hussain Passes Away
Zaid Hussain Jakhrani, the young son of Pakistan Peoples Party Chief Whip and Member of the National Assembly Mir Ijaz Hussain Jakhrani, has passed away. His funeral prayers will be offered on Sunday night at eleven pm at Hamidiya School Ground in Jacobabad.
The bereavement comes shortly after the passing of Mir Ijaz Jakhrani’s father, former MNA Mir Ahmed Nawaz Khan, also known as Mir Babul Khan Jakhrani, who died earlier in April 2026.
President Asif Ali Zardari and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss, offering condolences to the grieving family and praying for the departed soul. According to a statement issued by the President Secretariat, the president also prayed for strength and patience for the family during this difficult time.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also conveyed his sympathies and offered prayers for the deceased.
Meanwhile, National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq visited the residence of Mir Ijaz Hussain Jakhrani to personally offer condolences. He described the loss of a young son as an immeasurable tragedy and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family, praying for the deceased’s elevated ranks and strength for the family to endure the loss.
