Bilawal Bhutto says JI always supports dictators,
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari expressed optimism on Friday about his party’s victory in the forthcoming elections, slated to happen on February 8.
KHUZDAR – Pakistan Peoples Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari on Wednesday deplored the wave of terrorism in Balochistan just ahead of election.
“The PPP is on the receiving end of terrorism but the miscreants are sadly mistaken if they think I will retreat,” thundered Bilawal.
Speaking to a gathering in Khuzdar where he showed up as part of electioneering, Bilawal claimed that the PPP was the target of some elements who didn’t want the party to form government in Balochistan. Their conspiracies would be foiled, he added.
He said: “My brothers and sisters in Balochistan are in a state of agony. I understand the problems afflicting the Baloch and these people believe that the PPP can safeguard their rights.”
Addressing the press conference in Jacobabad, the former foreign minister said: “We have come up with the manifesto in line with the problems of the country. One of the promises is not only to increase the salaries of the people.”
He asserted, “We will also provide 300 free units of power. If PPP votes into power, we want to construct three million houses.’’
“The PPP will not only extend the BISP programme but also provide all-out support to the women. We will establish a university at every district and want to uplift the people of Jacobabad and Kashmore,” he said.
He vowed to roll out the “Bhook Mitao Programme.”
“We want to establish free health institutions. The PPP is eager to bring the health revolution to other provinces like Sindh. “I am thankful to the people of Jacobabad for expressing their confidence in the PPP,” he added.
Bhutto-Zardari said, “I would like to request that you give us a majority in the elections to make it easy for us to address your problems.”.
“I want to develop every nook and cranny in Sindh,” he maintained.

Addressing the public gathering in Shikarpur, the former foreign minister expressed optimism that the PPP will receive a significant vote.
He said, “The PPP does not believe in the politics of hatred. The politics had been converted into personal enmity, which harmed the country.”
“I will end poverty if I become premier. The masses know that the country is suffering hardships,” he said.
