PPL & FWO Join Forces for Mineral Exploration in Balochistan

KARACHI, Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) and Frontier Works Organization (FWO) have signed a joint venture agreement to explore and develop mineral resources in the EL-207 block located in Chagai district, Balochistan.

This partnership marks PPL’s diversification into the mining sector and strengthens its presence in Balochistan. The EL-207 block is believed to hold significant potential for copper and gold deposits.

The agreement signing ceremony was attended by key stakeholders, including PPL’s CEO Imran Abbasi and FWO’s Director General Major General Abdul Sami.

This collaboration leverages the expertise of both organizations. PPL brings its experience in exploration and development, while FWO contributes its civil engineering and construction capabilities.
