Possible Rain in Gilgit-Baltistan Amid Predominantly Dry Weather

The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecasted a stretch of dry weather across most parts of Pakistan for the week, with chances of rain in some high-altitude areas.

On Monday, dry conditions are expected countrywide, though temperatures will turn chilly in hilly regions during the nighttime. Punjab may experience light fog and lingering smog.

Dry weather will likely continue through Tuesday and Wednesday, with colder temperatures in mountainous areas during the morning and night. Punjab could see persistent fog and smog, while partly cloudy skies may appear in northern areas.

By Thursday, smog and fog are set to remain in Punjab, with scattered cloudy patches and rain potential in Gilgit-Baltistan.

From Friday to Sunday, while most regions will stay dry with ongoing smog, isolated mountain areas in Gilgit-Baltistan, Chitral, Swat, Dir, and Kohistan may see light snowfall.
