Positive Trend in Pakistan Stock Exchange; Dollar Loses Value Against Rupee
The decline in the dollar’s value against the rupee continued.
Islamabad: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) showed a positive trend on the fourth day of the trading week, while the US dollar continued to weaken against the Pakistani rupee.
On Thursday, the KSE-100 Index opened higher, gaining 355 points and reaching a level of 166,500 points.
Earlier, during the first session of the previous day, the index had crossed the 168,000-point mark, but it slipped into negative territory by the close of trading.

Meanwhile, the decline in the dollar’s value against the rupee continued. According to the Exchange Companies Association, the interbank rate saw a decrease of 6 paisa, bringing the dollar’s value to Rs 280.40.
