Poor Zong Internet Service in Hub, Balochistan Causes Headache for Users

A significant concern raised by users is the lack of proper backup systems during power outages.

Hub: The subpar internet service provided by Zong in Hub, Balochistan, has become a significant issue for local residents, particularly affecting children’s online education and business needs. Despite continuous complaints, there has been no improvement or action taken by the higher authorities.

Residents and Zong users in the industrial city of Hub have expressed frustration over the poor quality of service, especially in the age of modern technology. Users claim that, despite paying full taxes and charges for 4G services, the internet speed remains abysmally slow, which has started to negatively affect daily life and essential activities.

A significant concern raised by users is the lack of proper backup systems during power outages. Zong’s failure to provide a reliable generator or solar battery backup during load shedding leads to a complete disruption of services, leaving users without internet access.

Additionally, many users have reported that the company continues to raise the prices for call and internet packages without taking serious measures to improve service quality. Despite repeated complaints from users, Zong management has remained silent and made no visible efforts to address the problem, leaving customers feeling neglected.
