Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi met with a senior politician Nazir Ahmad Jutt at CMO. CM while talking on the occasion said that the present time needs to think above politics and the real politics at present is to serve the grief-stricken humanity which we are doing under the leadership of Imran Khan. He intimated that we have increased the number of special medical camps in the flood affected areas in order to prevent infectious diseases. He apprised that necessary medical facilities and preventive medicines from infectious diseases are available in surplus quantity in the flood affected areas. CM said that on his direction Chief Secretary Kamran Afzal is once again present in the affected areas while Provincial Ministers are also overseeing relief activities in affected areas. CM stated that he is himself overseeing the steps being taken for the rehabilitation of the affectees.CM denounced that unfortunately on the other hand the PDM parties are doing politics even in the given conditions. He reprimanded that the apathetic attitude of the opponents indicate that they do not value the difficulties and calamities of their brothers and sisters. He censured that these people always displayed irresponsible behaviour on every important occasion including flood adding that their politics is not based on any principle or an ideology.
