Awan specifically highlighted the appointment of Barrister Gohar Ali Khan as the PTI chairman, criticizing it as inconsistent with the party’s manifesto and democratic traditions. She emphasized that such actions, including the so-called intra-party polls, set an alarming precedent akin to dictatorship and should not be tolerated.
