Poland – (Special Correspondent / Web Desk) – A Polish Air Force F-16 fighter jet has crashed. The accident happened during a practice run for an airshow in the city of Radom. Sadly, the pilot did not survive the crash.
The country’s Defense Minister shared a heartfelt message. He honored the pilot as a dedicated and courageous officer who served his nation with pride. He offered his deepest respect to the pilot’s memory.
Military officials confirmed the jet was from a base near Poznan. They also confirmed a very important detail: no one on the ground was hurt in the accident.

Video from the scene shows the jet doing a rolling maneuver in the sky. Tragically, it then caught fire and crashed onto the airfield.
Local reports state the crash damaged the runway. Because of this tragedy, the planned Radom Airshow for this weekend has been canceled.
