Police–Traders Alliance Strengthened to Ensure Safe Business Environment in Faisalabad

The protection of the trading community is the top priority of the police.

Faisalabad: (Abdul Majid) A delegation of Anjuman Tajran Chiniot led by Central President Cloth Board Ittehad Group Pakistan Alhaj Naseer Yousuf Vohra met RPO Faisalabad Sohail Akhtar Sukhera. In this meeting, the overall security situation of the city, law and order and crime prevention were discussed. The delegation included District President Chaudhry Asghar Ali Jatt, Patron-in-Chief Khawaja Nadeem, General Secretary Hafiz Taimur Mirza, Central Secretary Information Cloth Board Pakistan Aamir Maqbool, Chairman Executive Council Mehboob Alam Bhola, President Cloth Board Faisal Sheikh, President Gaddafi Market Haji Ijaz, Central Secretary Information Pakistan Ulema Council Maulana Hafiz Maqbool Ahmed, General Secretary Punjab Maulana Azam Farooq. An integrated strategy was agreed upon in this meeting to eliminate extortion, dacoity and street crime. While Traders were taken into confidence for immediately reporting suspicious activities to the police. The Traders Association assured full cooperation with the police. The Traders Association appreciated the steps taken by RPO Faisalabad to eradicate gamblers and drugs in the region. RPO Faisalabad Sohail Akhtar Sukhera has said that police patrols in commercial centers, markets and business areas will be made more effective. Police and traders will work together to ensure a safe and stable business environment. The protection of the trading community is the top priority of the police.
