Chaudhry took a jibe at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), saying, ‘’It has been said frequently that the PTI has faced big injustice. Which of the party workers were involved in the May 9 vandalism?

‘’There is a difference between the rioters and political parties. We did not want to see the next government run by the rioters,” he added.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Rana Tanveer scolded the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Wednesday.

Expressing his thoughts in Nankana Sahib, the PML-N stalwart reiterated, ‘’The 2018 general elections were subjected to the worst rigging. The inept person [PTI chief] was handed over to the government.’’

‘’The PTI-led government did nothing but label others as thieves. The institutions got weaker during the tenure of the PTI,’’ he lamented.

Speaking about the PTI’s agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Tanveer said, ‘’The PTI had reached an agreement with the international lender on strict conditions. As a result, the country is facing severe consequences’’.

He made it clear that the PML-N has always preferred the country over politics.

Recounting the contributions of the PML-N, Tanveer said, ‘’The PML-N had ended the power outage. It also played a vital role in controlling inflation and terrorism in the country.’’
