PML-N & PPP to discuss power-sharing in Punjab today

LAHORE: The coordination committees of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) are set to meet today at the Governor’s House in Lahore to discuss power-sharing arrangements in Punjab.

The PPP delegation will include Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider, Raja Pervez Ashraf, Makhdoom Syed Ahmed Mahmood, Nadeem Afzal Chan, Hassan Murtaza, and Ali Haider Gilani.

Representing PML-N will be Ishaq Dar, Azam Nazir Tarar, Rana Sanaullah, Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan, and Maryam Aurangzeb.

The meeting will address local issues in Punjab and provide a platform for the PPP to voice its reservations about its partnership with PML-N in the province.

Both parties aim to strengthen their alliance and streamline governance strategies in Punjab.
