Punjab-(Special – Correspondent / Web Desk) – The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Monday awarded a Senate ticket to Prime Minister’s Advisor Rana Sanaullah Khan for a general seat from Punjab.

The by-election is set to take place on September 9, after the seat fell vacant following the resignation of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Ijaz Chaudhry.

Party sources confirmed that Rana Sanaullah will officially contest as the PML-N candidate in the upcoming Senate election from Punjab.
