Pakistan invites Qatari investors to explore new opportunities for partnership and economic growth together.

Qatar – Pakistan – (Special Correspondent / Web Desk) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has asked investors from Qatar to find new ways to work together. He explained this can happen through a special government council made to help foreign investments. The Prime Minister shared this during a meeting with Qatar’s Minister of Commerce and Industry in Islamabad.

During their talk, the Prime Minister stressed the need for both countries to increase trade and investment. He pointed out excellent chances for teamwork in areas like energy, farming, food security, technology, tourism, and building infrastructure. He said the strong relationship between Pakistan and Qatar is built on shared beliefs and mutual respect.

The Prime Minister also thanked Qatar for its important role as a partner and a peacemaker in the region. Recently, Qatar helped Pakistan and Afghanistan talk to each other, which stopped fighting at their border. He expressed Pakistan’s thanks for Qatar’s steady support on world issues.

In response, the Qatari minister promised that Qatar is dedicated to building a deeper economic relationship with Pakistan. He brought friendly greetings from Qatar’s leaders. Both sides agreed to keep working closely to turn their shared ideas into real-world results, making it easier for businesses from both nations to connect.

The minister’s visit was to co-chair a high-level commission on economic cooperation. Over three days, this meeting ended with the signing of a major agreement. This formalizes a pledge for Qatar to invest three billion dollars into Pakistan.

A key part of this plan is that Qatar’s investment authority will work directly with Pakistan’s special investment council. This council will be the main platform to guide these investments into important sectors, making the process smooth for Qatari investors. The Qatari minister said the meeting was a vital platform to review current cooperation and find new projects that benefit both countries.
