PM Shehbaz to Attend Trump’s Board of Peace Meeting in Washington

ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will travel to Washington next week to participate in the inaugural meeting of U.S. President Donald Trump’s Board of Peace, the Foreign Office confirmed on Thursday.

Speaking during the weekly media briefing in Islamabad, Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Hussain Andrabi said the prime minister will attend the high-level meeting scheduled for February 19. The session will be chaired by President Trump.
Pakistan had earlier received a formal invitation to join the Board of Peace meeting, marking an important diplomatic engagement between Islamabad and Washington.
