PM Shehbaz Sharif Vows to Eradicate Terrorism from Pakistan. In a speech during the National Security Committee meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif declared that there is no place for terrorism on Pakistani soil, and the government will go to any lengths to eliminate it. He also expressed gratitude to the military leadership, particularly the Chief of Army Staff, for their role in the fight against terrorism.

While addressing the meeting at Parliament House, the Prime Minister emphasized that terrorism has become a cancer for the country, and the government is committed to ridding Pakistan of this menace. He acknowledged the strategic approach adopted by Parliament to tackle terrorism and vowed to follow it through to the end, with Parliament leading the solution.

Prime Minister Sharif made it clear that the entire nation stands united in the fight against terrorism, and they will defeat this scourge at any cost. He honored the sacrifices of the martyrs, stating that the nation would never forget their bravery and dedication.

Additionally, the Prime Minister paid tribute to the security personnel who have made sacrifices in the war against terrorism, praising their relentless efforts and courage.

In his speech, Prime Minister Sharif also reassured that the country’s economy is on the path to recovery and that peace, security, and stability will be ensured. He stressed that the political leadership is united on national security issues, and they are fully committed to eradicating terrorism from the country.

In a related development, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party boycotted the National Security Parliamentary Committee meeting, while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur attended the session on behalf of his party.
