ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the government’s commitment to improving the efficiency of the health system and ensuring its accessibility to all citizens.
In a message on World AIDS Day, observed on Monday, the Prime Minister emphasized that providing equal opportunities for prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and care, particularly for vulnerable and marginalized groups, remains a key priority.
He added that the federal government, in coordination with provincial authorities, is working to ensure that local-level initiatives deliver meaningful results.

This year, World AIDS Day is being observed under the theme: “Overcoming Barriers and Changing the Attitude Towards AIDS.”
PM Shehbaz Sharif stressed that ensuring access to treatment, adopting modern medical facilities, and promoting community-level cooperation can help change societal attitudes towards HIV/AIDS and enhance overall public health outcomes.
