PM Shehbaz Sharif begins two-day Qatar visit today
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visits Qatar to boost trade, energy, investment, and strengthen long-standing friendship and regional cooperation ties.
Pakistan & Qatar – (Web Desk) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is set to begin a two-day official visit to Qatar today at the invitation of Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
According to the Foreign Office in Islamabad, he will be joined by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, along with other ministers and senior officials.
The visit highlights the strong brotherly relations between the two nations and their mutual desire to expand cooperation in various fields.
During his stay in Doha, the prime minister will meet the Qatari Amir to discuss key areas of partnership, including political ties, economic cooperation, energy collaboration, and people-to-people connections.
The two sides will also explore new avenues of cooperation, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, energy, infrastructure development, and manpower export.
Both the countries share a longstanding partnership characterized by mutual trust and close coordination at regional and international forums.
