PM Shehbaz Sharif Arrives in Istanbul on Visit

Istanbul: (News Desk) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Istanbul on Saturday for an official visit to Türkiye at the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Turkish Trade Minister Dr Omer Bolat, officials from the Turkish Foreign Ministry and representatives of the Pakistani Embassy welcomed the prime minister at Atatürk Airport. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Information Minister Attaullah Tarar are accompanying him.

Sharif to Attend Khamenei Funeral, Then Turkey

During the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz and President Erdogan will hold talks on the full spectrum of Pakistan-Türkiye relations, with a special focus on expanding trade, investment and economic cooperation. The leaders will also discuss regional peace and security.

The prime minister will additionally address a Pakistan-focused business conference, where investment opportunities in Special Economic Zones, energy, information technology, privatisation and other key sectors will be presented to Turkish investors and business leaders.
