Islamabad – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has demanded a report on the Libya boat tragedy and issued a stern warning against human trafficking.
In a statement, PM Shehbaz declared that strict action will be taken against those involved in human trafficking, emphasizing that no negligence will be tolerated.
He assured that the government is taking comprehensive measures to combat this heinous crime. Expressing deep sorrow over the loss of Pakistani lives in the tragedy, he instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to expedite the identification process of the deceased and ensure all possible assistance to the affected families.

Meanwhile, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has confirmed that seven Pakistani citizens lost their lives in the Libya boat accident.
