ISLAMABAD — In a powerful display of regional unity and brotherhood, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev took a symbolic stroll through the historic city of Khankendi, following the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Summit in Azerbaijan.
According to a statement issued by the PM Office Media Wing, President Aliyev personally guided his counterparts through the city, offering a detailed briefing on Khankendi’s rich history and cultural heritage. The tour included insights into historical landmarks and architectural sites of significance.
The informal walk showcased the strong fraternal ties between the three nations. As a symbolic gesture of unity and mutual respect, the three leaders held hands, engaging in friendly conversation and exchanging pleasantries.

In a further personal touch, President Ilham Aliyev later drove Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif himself to the city of Shusha for a luncheon, highlighting the close personal rapport among the leaders.
