PM Shehbaz condemns attacks on Jordan during call to King Abdullah-II
PM Shehbaz Sharif, King Abdullah-II exchange Eid greetings, stress peace, unity, and strong Pakistan-Jordan ties
Pakistan & Jordan – (Web Desk) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif spoke with King Abdullah-II of Jordan over the phone to exchange Eidul Fitr greetings. He sent warm wishes to the Royal Family and the people of Jordan. King Abdullah-II thanked him and returned the greetings.
During the call, both leaders emphasized the need for peace and unity in the Muslim world. They also talked about the current situation in the Middle East.
The Prime Minister expressed deep concern over the ongoing conflicts in the region. He strongly condemned the recent attacks on Jordan and showed full support for the people of Jordan during these difficult times.
Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the need for restraint, de-escalation, and diplomatic resolution of tensions. PM Shehbaz Sharif fondly recalled King Abdullah’s visit to Pakistan last November.

The prime minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong commitment to further strengthening its close and brotherly relations with Jordan in all areas of shared interest, particularly in trade, investment, and defence.
Both the leaders agreed to remain in close contact on bilateral and regional matters.
