PM Modi to Champion Global South Agenda at G7 Summit
Calgary: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in Calgary, Canada, to participate in the G7 Summit, where he will engage with world leaders and discuss key global issues. Upon landing, the Prime Minister shared his thoughts via a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), stating:
“Landed in Calgary, Canada, to take part in the G7 Summit. Will be meeting various leaders at the Summit and sharing my thoughts on important global issues. Will also be emphasising the priorities of the Global South.”
During the summit, PM Modi is expected to hold bilateral meetings with heads of state from leading economies, focusing on areas such as climate change, energy security, digital transformation, and geopolitical challenges. A significant aspect of his agenda will be to represent and advocate for the interests and developmental concerns of the Global South.
