PM Kakar emphasizes rule of law & economic reforms. In an interview with an international TV channel, Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar highlighted that anyone entering Pakistan must comply with legal documentation. He underscored Pakistan’s hospitality in hosting Afghan refugees for four decades while emphasizing the potential security threat posed by illegal residents.

Addressing the upcoming general elections, Prime Minister Kakar stated that providing citizens with the opportunity to vote is our responsibility. As Pakistan prepares for the general elections, he affirmed the Election Commission’s fulfillment of constitutional requirements and mentioned the presence of international observers during the electoral process.

Prime Minister Kakar assured that the Election Commission has met the constitutional requirements for the upcoming elections. He acknowledged that pre-election surveys are common, and global observers will witness the electoral process in Pakistan.

Expressing his priorities, Prime Minister Kakar stated that economic revitalization is the top agenda. He mentioned compliance with International Monetary Fund (IMF) conditions, emphasizing the necessity of economic reforms to steer the economic decimals in the right direction.
