Imran Khan receives eye treatment at PIMS hospital

ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Executive Director Dr Rana Imran confirmed on Friday that former prime minister Imran Khan, currently incarcerated, underwent treatment for an eye-related ailment at the hospital.

Khan was transferred to PIMS late Saturday night, where doctors administered an anti-VEGF injection to the affected eye. Hospital officials described the 20-minute procedure as smooth and without complications. Khan was later discharged with medical advice and a follow-up plan to assess his recovery, with doctors hopeful the treatment will help restore vision and prevent further damage.
