ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Pakistan International Airlines is currently operating a limited schedule, with one daily flight to Dubai and one to Abu Dhabi.
Flights to Riyadh and Madinah are continuing as per schedule. However, services to Dammam have been temporarily suspended following a missile attack on Bahrain, though authorities expect operations to resume soon.
PIA Suspends Gulf Flights Amid Security Concerns
PIA sources added that, for security reasons, flights to Saudi Arabia are currently being routed over the Arabian Sea via Yemen. Meanwhile, flights to Europe and Canada are taking alternate paths through the Wakhan Corridor in Afghanistan and via Tajikistan.
Authorities continue to monitor the situation closely, prioritizing passenger safety while maintaining essential international connectivity.
