PIA Flight Schedule Disrupted by Severe Weather
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has been forced to cancel and delay numerous flights due to adverse weather conditions, causing significant disruptions to its flight schedule nationwide.
Eight flights from Islamabad to Karachi have been canceled, including PK-301 and PK-368, as well as PK-455 and PK-456 from Karachi to Skardu. Four flights from Islamabad to Gilgit, specifically PK-601, PK-602, PK-605, and PK-606, have also been canceled.
In addition, several international flights have experienced delays ranging from one and a half to two and a half hours. This includes flights from Karachi to Dubai, Damascus, Muscat, Madinah, Jeddah, and Baghdad.
The departure of PIA flight PK-301 from Islamabad has been delayed by one and a half hours. Flight PK-302 to Lahore will now leave at 11 a.m., three hours later than initially scheduled. Flights between Lahore and Karachi, PK-304 and PK-305, have been delayed by one and a half hours, while the Lahore-Dubai flight PK-335 is running an hour late.

Further delays include Lahore-Muscat flight PK-229, which is postponed by four hours to 2:00 p.m., and Lahore-Bahrain flight PK-189, now scheduled for 11:30 p.m., five hours later than planned. Lahore-Skardu flight PA-251 and Jeddah flight ER-801 are delayed by two hours, and Lahore-Dubai flight PA-216 and Riyadh flight PA-274 are both running two and a half hours late.
Upcoming flights from Lahore to Sharjah, Dubai, Kuwait City, Jeddah, and Muscat will also face delays of one and a half hours. Flights from Islamabad to Muscat have been postponed by two and a half hours, while the Islamabad-Kuala Lumpur flight PK-894 is delayed by three hours. Additionally, the Dammam flight PK-245 is running two hours late, and the Sialkot-Dammam flight PK-243 is delayed by two and a half hours, now departing at 12:30 p.m.
A foreign airline flight, SV 795 from Multan to Jeddah, has also been delayed by two and a half hours due to the weather.
