PHC Shifts South Waziristan Courts to DI Khan Amid Security Fears
The Peshawar High Court (PHC) has decided to relocate all South Waziristan courts to Dera Ismail Khan due to ongoing security concerns in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In response to the deteriorating law and order situation, the PHC bench, including the Chief Justice and all judges, unanimously agreed during a security meeting to transfer the courts.
As a result, cases from both Tank and South Waziristan will now be heard in the courts of DI Khan, reflecting the need for a safer judicial environment in the region.
