Petrol Price Slashed by Rs. 7.54 per Liter, Diesel Up by Rs. 1.48
Islamabad: The Government of Pakistan has revised the prices of petroleum products following a review of prevailing international market trends and upon recommendations from the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) and concerned ministries. The new prices will be effective from August 1, 2025.
According to the notification issued by the Ministry of Finance, the price of petrol (MS) has been reduced by Rs. 7.54 per liter, bringing it down to Rs. 264.61 from the previous Rs. 272.15 per liter.

On the other hand, the price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) has been increased by Rs. 1.48 per liter, reaching Rs. 285.83, compared to the previous rate of Rs. 284.35 per liter.
These revised prices will remain in effect for the next fortnight.
Government sources stated that the adjustments were made in line with fluctuations in global oil prices and local currency trends.
