Anwar ul Haq congratulated Kashmiri nation on 76th Foundation Day of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Muzafarabad( Shoaib Mehmood)_Prime Minister Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq has congratulated the Kashmiri nation on 76th Foundation Day of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. In his message, the AJK premier said that it was due to the glorious struggle and sacrifices of the martyrs who laid down their lives to liberate the region from the clutches of Dogra Maharaja.
Reiterating his government’s full support to Kashmiris’ ongoing struggle against India, the PM said that the people of Azad Kashmir stand in support and solidarity of the Kashmiri brethren in their just struggle for right of self determination.Lauding the supreme sacrifices and resilience of the Kashmiri nation in the face of Indian suppression, the PM said that the people in occupied Kashmir were scripting a new history of resistance.
He said that the government and people of Azad Kashmir would never abandon their brethren under any circumstances.He said that the aim of the establishment of the revolutionary government in the liberated territory (AJK) was to strengthen the freedom movement and liberate the rest part of the state from the India’s illegal occupation.
He said that the coalition government would spare no efforts to strengthen the freedom movement besides promoting the Kashmir cause at international level.Denouncing the Indian government’s hostile policies, the PM said that since August 5, 2019, the occupied territory remains under Indian military siege.
He said that the occupied valley has been turned into the world’s largest prison. He said that given the precarious situation in the region, there was a dire need that the United Nations should play its due role to help resolve the lingering dispute through implementation of its resolutions that guarantee the right of self-determination to the people of Kashmir. He expressed the hope that the day was not far when the people of Occupied Kashmir will be free from Indian occupation.He said that after freedom the people of Kashmir would fulfill their ancestors’ pledge to join Pakista
