Pentagon signals more strikes while Iran vows resistance.

We are not looking for an endless war,” says Israeli foreign minister

Washington / Tehran -(Web Desk)-The conflict between the United States and Iran is intensifying as both sides exchange threats over military strikes and global oil supplies.

US says war will end on its timeline
US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said the war will end according to the United States’ timeline, adding that Washington will continue strikes until Iran’s military capabilities are severely weakened. The Pentagon also warned that some of the most intense airstrikes of the war are underway.

Heavy strikes across Iran
US and Israeli forces have carried out large-scale attacks on Iranian missile bases, naval targets, and military infrastructure. US officials say thousands of targets have been hit and dozens of Iranian ships destroyed or damaged during the campaign.

The Iran War and the Limits of Power

Iran threatens to stop Gulf oil exports
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) warned that if attacks continue, Tehran could block oil exports from the Gulf and stop tankers from passing through key routes. Officials said “not one litre of oil” would leave the region while the war continues.

Global oil markets shaken
The crisis has disrupted shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, a route that normally carries about 20% of the world’s oil supply, causing major concern for global energy markets and pushing oil prices sharply higher.

Regional tensions rising
Iran has also launched retaliatory strikes against US-linked targets in Gulf countries including Bahrain, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia, raising fears that the conflict could spread across the Middle East.
