Karachi-(Special Correspondent/Webdesk): Muhammad Hussain Cricket Club secured their spot in the final of the PCB Regional Inter Club Cricket Tournament (Karachi Region) after a commanding 83-run victory over Nazimabad Gymkhana Blues in the second semi-final held at Naya Nazimabad Stadium.

In their innings, Muhammad Hussain Cricket Club scored 226 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 40 overs. Key contributions came from Khan Shah, who top-scored with 64 runs, including three fours and five sixes. Aqib Rizvi added valuable runs with 43, striking two fours and three sixes, while Shehzar Muhammad chipped in with 43 runs as well. For Nazimabad Gymkhana Blues, Qadir Khan and Fawad Khan took two wickets each, with figures of 2/32 and 2/45, respectively.

Chasing a target of 227 runs, Nazimabad Gymkhana Blues struggled and were bowled out for just 143 runs in 28.3 overs. Zafar Ali was the top scorer for his side with 33 runs, supported by Qadir Khan with 28 and Kashif Khan with 20 runs. Sohail Khan was impressive with the ball for Muhammad Hussain Cricket Club, taking 2 wickets for just 15 runs, while Naveed Ahmed also claimed 2 wickets, conceding 25 runs.

The tournament, organized by the Pakistan Cricket Board, has showcased some thrilling matches as teams vie for the prestigious title. Muhammad Hussain Cricket Club will now prepare for the final, aiming for victory in this regional championship.
