The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) made a historic move by appointing seasoned sports journalist Aalia Rasheed as the Director of Media and Communication.
This appointment marks a significant moment in PCB’s history as Aalia Rasheed becomes the first woman ever to take on the role of media head.
According to her bio on X, she holds the distinction of being the first Pakistani female cricket anchor and journalist.
Throughout her career, she has worked with prestigious organizations including the International Cricket Council (ICC), Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Pakistan Television (PTV), British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), and Radio Pakistan.
In addition to her work in sports journalism, Aalia has also ventured into filmmaking and writing.
