PCB Chief Naqvi Convenes Emergency Meeting
Chairman will discuss national team's recent shortcomings
Islamabad-Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi has called an emergency meeting with mentors and selectors on October 13 to address the national team’s persistent struggles. The meeting aims to formulate a strategy for the team’s future and establish key policies.
According to details surfaced on Saturday, the PCB chief had summoned the meeting of the mentors and selectors. The meeting will look to formulate the strategy pertaining to the national team’s future.
The key policies will also be formulated in tomorrow’s meeting.
Moreover, the PCB chairman will also address the matters in line with the Pakistan national team’s recent shortcomings. Separately, former Pakistan head coach Mickey Arthur has rallied behind the Pakistan national cricket team despite the shortcomings in red-ball format.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Arthur said: “Just a few thoughts as a follower of Pakistan cricket.” The players are very skilled and are the right ones. The inconsistency around selection, environment, and the right one’s.”
