PCB Initiates Search for New White Ball Head Coach Following Gary Kirsten’s Resignation
Pakistan-(Special Correspondent): In light of Gary Kirsten’s recent resignation as Pakistan’s white ball head coach, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has begun reaching out to a shortlist of 7-8 domestic coaching candidates to find a replacement.
According to sources, the PCB Chairman has prioritized the appointment of a new head coach, urging rapid progress in discussions with local talent.
In the interim, Jason Gillespie is anticipated to take on the role of temporary head coach for Pakistan’s upcoming series against Australia, pending a permanent decision.
If ongoing talks with local candidates conclude successfully, PCB may soon announce a permanent head coach from this domestic pool, aiming to bring stability and continuity to the coaching structure ahead of key international competitions.
