PCB Announces Sixteen-Member Squad for Australia T20I Series in Lahore

The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced a sixteen-member squad for the upcoming three-match T20 International series against Australia, scheduled to be played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on twenty nine and thirty one January and one February, with all matches starting at four pm Pakistan time.

Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah Afridi return to the T20I setup after missing the recent away series against Sri Lanka, while Shadab Khan continues his comeback and strengthens Pakistan’s spin options alongside Abrar Ahmed, Mohammad Nawaz and Usman Tariq. The squad, led by captain Salman Ali Agha, is expected to assemble in Lahore on twenty four January to begin preparations, while the Australian team is due to arrive on twenty eight February for only their second T20I series on Pakistani soil since April two thousand twenty two.
