PCB Announces Schedule for National Women’s T20 Tournament

The new four-year ICC cycle, featuring 16 teams, will officially commence on May 12.

Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the schedule for the upcoming National Women’s T20 Tournament, which is set to begin on May 7 in Karachi.

Meanwhile, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the annual Women’s T20I team rankings. According to the latest rankings, Australia maintains its dominance at the top with 299 points, followed by England in second place, India in third, and New Zealand securing the fourth position.

Pakistan’s women’s team currently ranks eighth, while Ireland holds the ninth spot and Bangladesh is placed tenth in the updated standings.

In another development, the ICC has granted One Day International (ODI) status to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) women’s team, replacing the USA for the 2025–2029 cycle. The new four-year ICC cycle, featuring 16 teams, will officially commence on May 12.
