Islamabad: In a significant stride towards enhancing aviation training standards, the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) proudly inaugurated a state-of-the-art exam centre for aspiring pilots at Islamabad International Airport (IIAP). This initiative aims to provide greater accessibility and convenience to aviation enthusiasts in the northern regions of Pakistan.
The inauguration ceremony, held at IIAP, was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including Air Marshal (Retd) Farhat Hussain Khan, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Aviation. The event witnessed the participation of key figures such as Secretary Aviation, Director General PCAA, Additional Director General PCAA, Deputy Director General (Regulatory), Director Personnel and Licensing, and the Manager of Islamabad International Airport. Notably, Mr. Matt Margesson and Mr. Ian Saunders, representatives from the United Kingdom Civil Aviation Authority International (UKCAAi), also attended the ceremony.
The establishment of this cutting-edge exam center at IIAP symbolizes a milestone in PCAA’s commitment to advancing aviation education. Candidates appearing for pilot exams from across the northern regions will now benefit from modern facilities, advanced technological support, and expert supervision, provided in collaboration with the British Council in Pakistan and UKCAAi.
