Muzaffarabad: (Web Desk) – At least three people lost their lives and two others were critically injured when a passenger vehicle plunged into a deep ravine near Garhi Dupatta, on the outskirts of Muzaffarabad.
Rescue officials reported that the accident occurred on the Kai Manja road near Batlian, where the vehicle lost control and fell into a gorge. There were seven passengers on board at the time. Emergency responders reached the site promptly, transporting the critically injured to a nearby hospital.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the crash, while rescue teams continued operations in the area.

In a separate series of road accidents in Nawabshah, two more people, including a young child, lost their lives. In Sakrand, a collision between two motorcycles claimed the life of a young man identified as Subedar Magsi, leaving two others injured.
Meanwhile, on the National Highway near Qazi Ahmed, a 10-year-old pedestrian, Mohsin Mahar, was struck by a trailer and died at the scene. The bodies of the deceased and the injured were shifted to a taluka hospital, and authorities have initiated inquiries into both incidents.
